Last week we hosted our annual careers week - the highlight of our careers-related curriculum. 

At Penny Oaks, "Aspirations" is a driver for our curriculum and is embedded throughout all we do. Our pupils are taught about a wide variety of career options and how what they are learning each day links to future careers. Our annual careers week is an accumulation of this work and a real highlight in the school calendar. 

This year's careers week saw many guests come into school to talk about their job and what is needed to work in their industry. We even had a visit from the Lord Mayor of Bradford who met with all the children and explained his important role in our city and how he became the Lord Mayor.
