Year 1 visited the Sealife Centre in Manchester today. The trip is linked to their topic "Eco Warriors" and their text "Somebody Swallowed Stanley" by Sarah Roberts and gives our children the opportunity to see the Sea-life creatures that they have been learning about in class up close. The class were even able to touch some of the creatures in a special workshop – some children stroked the starfish! 

After learning all about sea creatures at the Sea-life centre they then headed over to the Lego Discovery Centre where they got to practice their construction skills and learn all about 3D animation.
