PE Sessions

There have been some changes to the days some classes have PE.  Please look at the timetable below.

Online Safety Information

Children with additional needs may experience the online world differently to their peers.

Some children may spend more time online, be more trusting, compliant or anxious, or feel less in control of their online experiences.

As parents and carers, it can be difficult to know how best to support your child, especially when much of the online safety advice available takes a “one size fits all” approach.

That’s why we wanted to share Every Child Safe Online, a new advice hub from online safety experts Internet Matters which offers accessible, practical resources and guidance for parents and carers of children with additional needs.

The resources are designed to help you support your child to have safer, more positive online experiences, with guidance that recognises that every child is different.

You can access the resources here.

Year 3

To support their work in geography, the children in Year 3 will be walking around the local area on Monday 8th June.  Please ensure they wear appropriate footwear and bring a coat.

T20 Ladies World Cup Tournament - Wednesday 17th June

There are still places available for this trip.  If you are interested please email Mrs Spafford stating how many adult and children’s tickets you would like.

Confirmation of places will be sent by Wednesday

Milk Money

Our supplier is Cool Milk.  If you wish to register your child for milk please go to their website: www.coolmilk.com.

Valuable Items

If your child brings their phone, house keys, bus pass, and wears a smart watch they need to hand them into the office where the items will be locked away.

Your child will then need to collect them at the end of the day.

Reporting your child absent

This year we will once again be having a big push on attendance and punctuality. The children are expected in school everyday. Children are not allowed to take leave from school. If you do take your child out of school then you may be prosecuted and fined £80 per child per parent. In some cases you could be fined £2,500 per child per parent and receive a criminal record.

Mrs. Spafford and Mrs. Khambhaita will be monitoring all children and if theyhave any concerns regarding a child’s attendance or punctuality, the parents will be invited to a meeting.

If your child is going to be absent from school please do not ring the school number but ring or send a text to 07938742883.

If we have not received a reason for your child’s absence we will be contacting you from this number.  If we do not receive any reason then a home visit will be made.
