Online Safety
Next week teachers will be sharing the Acceptable Use Policy with all the children in their classes. The children will then be asked to sign the policy to say they will follow the online safety rules set out by our Academy. Please take some time to read through the Acceptable Use Policy relevant to your child/children. A copy of these are attached below.
Breakfast ClubFrom this September, the Breakfast Club is being funded by the DFE. This means the Club will remain free and there will be a wider selection of options on the menu. Milk Money
Our supplier is Cool Milk. If you wish to register your child for milk please go to their website: www.coolmilk.com.
Valuable Items
If your child brings their phone, house keys, bus pass, wears a smart watch they need to hand them into the office where the items will be locked away.
Your child will then need to collect them at the end of the day.
Children in Years 5 and 6
If you wish your child to walk to and from school by themselves, please collect a form from the office and complete it. Please be aware the form does not mean they will be able to be responsible for a younger sibling.
Reporting your child absent
This year we will once again be having a big push on attendance and punctuality. The children are expected in school everyday. Children are not allowed to take leave from school. If you do take your child out of school then you may be prosecuted and fined £80 per child per parent. In some cases you could be fined £2,500 per child per parent and receive a criminal record.
Mrs. Spafford and Mrs. Khambhaita will be monitoring all children and if they have any concerns regarding a child’s attendance or punctuality, the parents will be invited to a meeting.
If your child is going to be absent from school please do not ring the school number but ring or send a text to 07938742883.
If we have not received a reason for your child’s absence we will be contacting you from this number. If we do not receive any reason then a home visit will be made.
