The Royal Navy visited Year 5 to explain the important work they do.

Year 5 learnt that the Royal Navy protects our country and has an alliance with 35 other countries who all work together to support each other.

They learnt how flares are used to call for help if someone needs rescuing in the seas and oceans.

The children then made their very own flares and launched them into the air.
