Today we held a cricket match on the field to celebrate our lovely dads. With Father's Day fast approaching, we wanted to host a special event to mark the occasion and to celebrate our lovely dads and all they do for us. 

Mr Waddington led a cricket match between the dads and children. Afterwards, they all sat together to enjoy food prepared by Mrs Garner. 

One dad told us, "It is lovely to be able to spend the afternoon with my child. His mum normally comes to all the events so it is very special to have an event just for dads. It was nice to spend time talking to the other dads and to have a laugh together."
