Important Online Safety Update – Snapchat and Image Sharing
Please be reminded that Snapchat has a minimum age requirement of 13 years old. This age restriction is in place to ensure children are mature enough to handle the potential challenges and risks that come with these platforms. We do not expect any child in school to be on Snapchat.
Snapchat allows users to send photos and videos ("Snaps") that are designed to disappear. This feature can lead to impulsive, often inappropriate behaviour, as children may feel there are no lasting consequences.
We encourage you to have conversations at home regarding respectful online behaviour. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our children safe, both online and in the real world.

Year 1 trip to Legoland and Sealife Centre, Manchester
On Monday, Year 1 had an exciting trip to Legoland Manchester and Sea Life. At Legoland, we went on lots of fun rides and enjoyed playing and building with Lego. There were amazing Lego models to look at, and we had fun exploring everything. One of the best parts of the trip was watching a Lego movie in the 4D cinema, where it felt like we were part of the action.
After Legoland, we visited Sea Life and saw lots of incredible sea creatures, including sharks, rays, and colourful fish. It was amazing walking through the underwater tunnel and seeing the sea animals swimming all around us. We also learnt interesting facts about marine life and how to help protect the oceans.
It was a brilliant day full of fun, adventure, learning, and Year 1 made lots of happy memories together.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a School Bake Sale to help raise much-needed funds for our upcoming school trips! These excursions provide our students with invaluable hands-on learning experiences, and we want to ensure every child has the opportunity to participate. We would love for you to get involved and buy the treats we will have on offer. |

Milk Money
Our supplier is Cool Milk. If you wish to register your child for milk, please go to their website: www.coolmilk.com.
Valuable Items
If your child brings their phone, house keys, bus pass, and wears a smartwatch, they need to hand them into the office where the items will be locked away.
Your child will then need to collect them at the end of the day.
Reporting your child absent
This year we will once again be having a big push on attendance and punctuality. The children are expected in school every day. Children are not allowed to take leave from school. If you do take your child out of school, then you may be prosecuted and fined £80 per child per parent. In some cases, you could be fined £2,500 per child per parent and receive a criminal record.
Mrs. Spafford and Mrs. Khambhaita will be monitoring all children and if they have any concerns regarding a child’s attendance or punctuality, the parents will be invited to a meeting.
If your child is going to be absent from school, please do not ring the school number but ring or send a text to 07938742883.
If we have not received a reason for your child’s absence, we will be contacting you from this number. If we do not receive any reason, then a home visit will be made.
