We would like to remind you, parents are welcome to attend the Friday morning Celebration Assembly. The doors open at 9.00 a.m. Once all the children are ready the door will be closed. Unfortunately, once closed you will not be admitted into the hall. We do ask for all phones to be switched off and no chatting amongst yourselves once the assembly starts.
Warm Clothing
Please send your child/children to school with coats, hats, scarves, gloves etc. If your child comes to school in wellington boots please ensure they bring a change of shoes to school. Please also make sure all items have your child’s name in them.
Healthy Eating
We operate a healthy eating policy in our school and would be grateful if you could choose healthy options for your child’s lunch box.

Valuable Items
If your child brings their phone, house keys, bus pass, wears a smart watch they need to hand them into the office where the items will be locked away.
Your child will then need to collect them at the end of the day.
Children in Years 5 and 6
If you wish your child to walk to and from school by themselves, please collect a form from the office and complete it. Please be aware the form does not mean they will be able to be responsible for a younger sibling.
Reporting your child absent
This year we will once again be having a big push on attendance and punctuality. The children are expected in school everyday. Children are not allowed to take leave from school. If you do take your child out of school then you may be prosecuted and fined £80 per child per parent. In some cases you could be fined £2,500 per child per parent and receive a criminal record.
Mrs. Spafford and Mrs. Khambhaita will be monitoring all children and if theyhave any concerns regarding a child’s attendance or punctuality, the parents will be invited to a meeting.
If your child is going to be absent from school please do not ring the school number but ring or send a text to 07938742883.
If we have not received a reason for your child’s absence we will be contacting you from this number. If we do not receive any reason then a home visit will be made.
