Penny Post - 17 May 2024

Our latest newsletter

Please be aware that as part of our behaviour policy and uniform policy, we are checking that your children are wearing the correct uniform and P.E kit.  There are too many children in school not wearing the correct uniform/kit.  Most days your child needs to wear school uniform - Lemon polo shirt, green jumper and black trousers/skirt.  With the uniform, they should be wearing black shoes.  On P.E days, children should be wearing black jogging bottoms, white t-shirt and black hoodie and trainers.  Some children are wearing their school jumper as part of the P.E kit and should not be.

As part of our monitoring, if the children come into school in the wrong uniform/kit they will get a behaviour mark.  Please work with your child to make sure they are wearing the correct items.  The children look very smart when they are in the correct clothing.

Thank you for co-operation

Year 2 Parents:

Reminder:  The SATs this year will be start next week.  In order to ensure the children are fully prepared for the day we are offering a free Breakfast Club.  There will be a selection of food for them i.e. toast, cereals fruit, Danish pastries and vegetarian sausages etc.  After they have eaten, there will be various activities to help them to be in the correct mindset for the tests.

The children will need to come to the main door from 8.00 a.m. where they will be supervised by Mrs. Cieloch and other school staff.  This will run from Monday to Thursday.
