Meet our School Council

The School Council members are:

Year 6 - Chloe and Dawud

Year 5 - Zara and Deeshan

Year 4 - Aahil and Hibba

Year 3 - Abhirami and Daksh

Year 2 - Vaibhavi and Jainil

 

We asked our school council members what they enjoyed most about the role:

 

‘The school council has given me the opportunity to become more confident and a bolder person.’

Chloe - Year 6

 

‘We get to work together with other Co-op schools, this gives us more opportunities and more ideas.’ 

Dawud - Year 6

 

‘I like being the school councillor because I feel like we help people.’ 

Deeshan - Year 5

 

'You get to learn about new things and get to meet people, for example those from the lift the ban campaign.’

Zara - Year 5

 

‘I like the fact we can help people by making the school better.’ 

Hibba - Year 4

 

‘Being a school councillor is great because we get to raise money for charities.’

Aahil - Year 4

 

 ‘I like that we can help other people, like asylum seekers to get into work.’ 

Abhirami - Year 3

 

 ‘We get to make the school better and so more people want join.’

Daksh - Year 3

 

'I like being a school councillor because we get to teach everyone all the new things we learn.’

' I like that we can plan for assemblies, we get to tell everyone about what we are doing.'
