At Penny Oaks we provide Forest School for the children in the Nursery. Forest Schools day is on a Thursday and the children will be outside come rain or shine. This is an outdoor learning process that uses hands-on experiences in a natural environment to develop confidence, self-esteem, and a wide range of social, physical, creative, and intellectual skills. 

School provide puddle suits and wellies so all the children get the full experience.

Nursery children visit the KS1 library every Friday. This is an opportunity for them to look at different books and to share a story together.
